More time making sound. Less time handing over keys. Bring room hire, payment and arrival details together for musicians, tutors, podcasters and producers, whether they need a practice room or a quiet booth for a focused session.
Keep the shoot and the way in on the same schedule. Offer a whole studio, a product set or a self-tape room, with reservation details your team can use to plan arrivals and resets between creators.
Give a group a room of their own. Connect paid sessions with entry details for singing, tabletop campaigns, gaming or a private screening, and keep the next reservation visible to the team running the venue.
One bay. One booked session. Keep practice time, payment and entry on the same reservation, whether customers are working on their swing, training with a coach or settling into a simulator.
Make space for individual practice and independent instructors alongside your regular programme. Manage private room hire for coaching, movement and recovery, with each reserved session connected to its payment and access details.
A quiet room can be a useful part of someone’s working day. Let customers reserve space for a meeting, interview, lesson or presentation, while your business keeps the room schedule and arrival details together.
Give independent practitioners a clear way to reserve the room they work from. Connect room schedules, rental payments and entry details for a shared practice, salon or consulting business with space available between appointments.
Room to play, train or groom without sharing the session. Pet businesses can offer private space hire alongside their usual services, connecting the owner’s reservation with the time and entry details for their visit.
Bring room hire together across the spaces around your main venue. A community hall, preparation suite or shared amenity can have its own reservation, payment and entry details, ready for the people using it and the team looking after it.
Some useful spaces don’t fit a neat label. From a test kitchen or detailing bay to a private shower suite at a marina or campsite, connect the space reservation with payment and arrival details around the way your business operates.
Different spaces. One connected reservation.
Timed entry uses compatible locks. We’ll confirm the booking flow and any extra requirements for specialist equipment, resident amenities or overnight stays before launch. More on setup and compatibility.
A business inside your business.
A room between classes. A set between shoots. A quieter part of the day. There may be another way to use the space you already run.
A spare teaching room can serve visiting tutors during the day and musicians after lessons finish. Give the room its own paid reservation.
Offer actors a prepared audition space between classes, with a backdrop and a clear arrival time instead of arranging a whole studio hire.
Give tabletop groups a private place to settle in for the evening. The room becomes another reason to return to your shop.
A smaller, repeatable setup can suit local sellers who need a few product shots. Print shops and creative agencies can offer the same kind of space.
Open gaps between classes to dancers, choreographers and independent coaches who need a floor for their own session.
Offer podcasters and voiceover artists a smaller booth session alongside your full studio hire, with the space prepared for the booking.
Furniture showrooms and event-styling businesses already create good-looking settings. A dedicated set can become a bookable space for creators and photographers.
Use a spare office for interviews, tutoring or private calls. A converted commercial unit can also become a hub of bookable studios and workrooms.
Offer an exercise room during quieter hours for owners and trainers who want a session of their own.
Dressing suites, preparation rooms and client presentation spaces can be reserved separately from the main event. Show customers the smaller spaces you have, too.
Start with the way you work.
You don’t need a finished plan. Bring the details you have, and we’ll work through the rest together.
Your locations, the rooms or bays people book at each one, and the doors they need to use.
Session lengths, payment rules, and how your team handles arrivals, turnaround, and exceptions.
Timed access needs compatible locks. We’ll confirm models, connectivity, and installation needs before launch. Hardware and installation are priced separately.
Beyond the booking / Staff modules in development
Some doors are for your team. Explore Staff Scheduling and Staff Access for approved employees, their working hours and a clearer record of supported access events.
Consider scheduled access for maintenance teams, cleaners, contractors and employees who need specific rooms during their shifts. Draft and publish the plan, then connect the approved assignment to its access window.
Try the staff scheduleStaff door access is a potential fit for healthcare facilities with compatible hardware. Dorkey’s proposed role is entry permission and supported access activity; medication records, dispensing and inventory stay in your existing systems.
We would confirm the exact doors, credentials, emergency procedures and facility requirements before agreeing a deployment. This is not a claim of healthcare certification or a replacement for your security systems.
Explore Staff AccessThese are interactive concepts, not connected staff services. A recorded credential use can help establish an incident timeline; it does not prove a person entered or removed an item. Available events depend on the device.
Exploring a smaller, single-property offering
A potential Dorkey offering for pet sitters, cleaners, house sitters and short-stay hosts. Tell us how you use your property so we can explore the right access setup.
A pet sitter may need to leave for a walk and come back. A cleaner may need several trips to the car. A timed visit keeps the same credential usable within the agreed window, then ends its access.
True one-use entry is different: one successful unlock consumes the credential. It requires explicit device support and is not the default for visits that need re-entry.
For short-term rentals, including properties listed on Airbnb, a check-in-to-checkout window is usually more practical than one-use entry. A separate window can cover the cleaner between guests.
This consumer offering is exploratory. Dorkey does not currently provide an Airbnb integration or a self-service home plan; availability, compatible hardware and pricing are to be confirmed.
